Nephew 4

Matthew Tyler Wall has been called to serve a mission in Guadalajara Mexico y ya va a hablar en espanol tambien, and is now going to speak in Spanish also. I am so sorry that my mother was so dead set on the fact that her grandchildren were not going to speak in spanish or each of our children would also soeak spanish.

Matthew will report at the mission home in Provo, Utah on December 6 2006 where he will be discomforted by all the young ladies of BYU and where he will be asked to shave his beard, the hardest thing he will have to do for the next two years. Then will come the hardest thing, that of leaving his beloved people of Guadalajara. He will also have to leave the beauty of Guadalajara.

The funniest thing about Matthew is that he hates to sweat, he bathes and changes his clothes at least 4 times a day according to mom. I think this will change a little as he serves a mission in one of the hottest places he could serve. This will be interesting. I remember a missionary in North Carolina who packed his clothes and rode his bike about 15 miles to the airport and caught a flight home after being in the mission field less than two weeks. This would be a terrible thing to happen for any missionary this came to mind as I write this note and definitely do not think Matthew capable of this type of action.

Matthew is the fourth nephew of mine and the fifth grandchild of my parents to accept the will of our Heavenly Father.
