I am so thankful for...

I am thankful for many many things:

1. I am extremely thankful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and for all it has brought into my life. There is nothing truly good that can happen without this gospel and it has kept me on course even when I wanted to stray. I believe in God the eternal Father of us all, in His son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost as a godhead. I believe that our Father in Heaven has called prophets to guide and to lead His children through the ages and will have prophets into eternity for the same purpose.
2. I am thankful for Diana and for the efforts she has made to teach me to be a nicer, kinder person. Sorry but I have been unable or unwilling to learn so far. Hopefully I will be able to learn before the JUDGMENT so that we might be able to share eternity together, I know that is what she wants. Diana is so kind that she keeps telling me how to be a better person and never seems to give up.
3. I am thankful for Steve Matherson's mother who insisted Diana was not good enough for her little boy, so he divorced Diana making it possible for others (ME) to get all of Diana's love. It also made it possible for our new bishop Doug Earl , a lawyer, to help me adopt Cathy so that we could be sealed as a family.
4. I am thankful for each of my children (Catherine Anne, Kristy Dawn, Ciria Joy, Alexander Corey, Andrew Keary and Calixta Marie) for their willingness to put up with my anger and my reactions, hard to tell the difference many times but with coaching from their mother they either learned or were to afraid to say anything. I wish to apologize to my children for making them go through everything they have put up with from me.
   
5. I an very thankful for my grandchildren: Zach P (Kristy); Toni P (Kristy); Summer B (Cathy); Zeke P (Kristy); Aden N (Andrew); Brecky B (Cathy); Joce N (Andrew); Zoë K (Ciria); Kari K (Ciria); Alex N (Alex); Naomi K (Ciria) This little girl was born on my 57th birthday and I didn't expect to live beyond 27, due to a doctors statement! That's 30 years of nothing but populating the earth and being a good example for all those who know me. Even if they are afraid of me!; Rocio N (Alex). And if their are any names or dates that are wrong please correct me if you can by comment or by email

I don't think Calixta could have gotten a better spouse even if I had picked the spouse. Can you imagin2 Calixta allowing me to choose a husband for her? I'll bet she would had a cow much easier than the two of you can have a baby even one one with black hair, olive skin and green eyes. (At least that is how the picture she sent me looked annd I don't have much of an imagination!)

I think you are a great enthusiast to make something of yourself and with Calixta at your side you can go a long way in your attempts to get on top. And yes I do believe you will get on top.

Take good care of Calixta and she will always be there for you much the way her mother has helped me throughout my attempts to do well for her and for the family.

I am trying to figure out how Nate and Calixta formatted their blog...

Did you use an XML Editor and if so I cannot find one to use. I have seen other blogs on Blogger that make mine look so old I am ashamed. I tried to send my template to the Microsoft XML editor and was told it does not meet the requirements for some reason. My memory is almost useless. The harder I try to remember the faster I FORGET. With some writing I might remember better.
